Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father left her family when she wasn't even an adult. Brink was 14 when she became pregnant and she had to drop out of her high school. She moved to an apartment after the birth of Davion and started working in the laundromat. Brink started her own group Pulse which was based on the streets of Albany New York. They mostly played for local bands like Coal Chamber or Sevendust. They broke up afterward. When she was 25years old, she moved her home from California in the state of California to Los Angeles, looking for the big break. Brink began working at stores as well as singing in bars. Brink was looking for bands. She was introduced to Chris Howorth, the band's present member, during a music audition two years later. Howorth turned down her application because she is female. After seeing her show, he changed his mind. Dying Stars was the name they used to describe their band. They created along with drummer Jeff Fabb. Blake Bunzel (guitarist) and Josh Newell (bassist) joined the group in the following years. The band's name has been changed to In This Moment after two shows.
